The Blob's first appearence was in the 50's film 'The Blob' which managed to gross around $240,000 in all. It had one sequal in 1972 called 'Beware the Blob' which was a comedy sequal. The original had a remake in 1988, in which the Blob is shown as a goverment experiment gone wrong.
